Coaching is about results.

Let's start here. 

You can find anything you need to know about absolutely anything in the world by doing a quick Internet search.

What you can't find is a strategy to move forward from where you are to where you're designed to be.

Or, to say it another way, ideas are easy... implementation that leads to change is sometimes hard.

You need a proven path-- a framework-- that builds a bridge from where you are to where you want to go in a specific area of life.

Coaching provides you with the path AND the process to walk that path, so you can reach your potential.

Courses can provide you with that path, as well.

"Coaching" has become a hot topic in the past few years.

Since a lot of people define coaching differently, before we enter a coaching relationship with anyone, we like to outline what we mean by "coaching."

Again, we like to affirm that you may not need coaching. You might just need a great course.

Accountability & access

Coaching is "walking with" you.

With both coaching and courses, you'll receive:

FAQs about our Coaching Process

If we were sitting at a coffee shop, you'd probably ask a few questions. Since I'm here and you're there, let me provide you with the answers to some of the most common. 

Choose Your Program 

Amplify coaches on the following tracks. Many times, we hit multiple lanes with the same client at the same time.

Objective | Refine your message, complete the manuscript, launch the book, and repurpose your core content into blog posts, podcasts, courses, speaking opportunities, workshops and more.

Objective | You already have the message but want to leverage it by finding and/or growing an online audience, as well as discovering how to sell your products and programs online... and then learning the "business side" of it.

Objective | You have a product or program you sell, but you're either stuck on the messaging of it, you want to teach others how to do it (and create effective systems), and you want to discover how to "scale" it.

How I Learned It

Let me explain how we got here...

That's me in the middle-- with my friends Dave (left) and Troy (right). They wrote a book and published it.

When I heard them speak, I figured, "If they did it, I can probably figure this out, too!"

I self-published my book (the one they're "fighting" over) and-- at Dave's suggestion-- began looking into the world of online marketing...

Now that I had the ideas in print I had to make sure people could buy those ideas.

I had "what I know" in print, but how do you get "paid" for what you know?!

I learned-- the hard way (i.e., by experience and LOTS of trial and error), that self-publishing-- whether it's a book, a course, a coaching program, your own event, or anything else-- means two things: 

1️⃣ The good news = you own the content, so you can continue developing it into courses, live workshops, and coaching programs (i.e., pictured here).

2️⃣ The bad news = you've got to promote your products and programs-- no one else will do it for you.

To earn an income AND make an impact, you've got to make sure people know how to purchase your products and programs. 

That's me, again... on stage.

"The Advance," a semi-annual event that I co-created for men, gave me a great opportunity to learn about promoting books, courses, and content. 

And, since we taught the same core info at each event, I learned a lot about "dialing it in" and "getting it right" over a ten-event run.

Doing the same thing over and over helped me refine the "How to Get Paid for What You Know" process.

(And, I learned the process can work for books, courses, coaching, events, groups, memberships, speaking, and more.)

I also learned how to re-purpose content. 

Most teachers and trainers don't need MORE information. They simply need to use-- and re-use-- what they already have, transforming it into different formats so their audience can access it wherever they are on their journey. 

(This next pic = me turning a workbook into an online course-- which eventually became a live event and more!)

Once you learn how to repurpose your content, you can sell it in multiple forms to numerous audiences at different price points.

This, of course, is the "short version" of a decade-long story. 

As others saw me building our platform and sharing our message online, they began asking us to help them. 

After serving a few clients, my wife (Beth, pictured here) suggested,

"You need to write all of these processes down-- and teach other people how they can do this themselves. It's all in your head, and it's not helping anyone..."

Or, to say it another way-- "You need to help other people get paid for what they know, too."

A few months later, I began writing another book-- one that contains all our systems and processes and answers to all the questions I asked myself and searched to answer while on my own journey of "getting paid for what I know."

The result was-- is-- my book Amplify.

After creating that book, we decided to craft a workbook from the content and create an on-demand, online course. 

We invited a few friends to join us for the filming, which happened in our house!

And, while helping numerous clients we continued refining the processes we use to "get paid for what we know."
