How to know what to say & when to say it...

One of the biggest questions that arises when it comes to social media is what to say, when to say it, and how often to post. Plus, with so many platforms out there, it's difficult to determine where you should actually post.

Furthermore, will anyone even see it?

Email or Social?

First, let's begin here...

In order to amplify our message, we need to post on social media and communicate via email.

Both.

They work together.

And, we can use the language from one and cross-post it to the other (amplification isn't about creating "more stuff" it's about using and re-using what you've already got!).

Second, make a plan.

Rather than wondering what to say on a day-by-day basis, create a template for the "perfect week."

For instance, share your podcast every Tuesday. Then, re-share something from 4-5 weeks ago every Friday.

Share a free opt-in every Wednesday, and your favorite pics on Mondays and and Thursdays...

Time to Share?

Don't forget about your old stuff, even as you create new content.

If you using scheduling software, as we suggest,  you can constantly use and re-use your old posts-- without starting from scratch.

And, if you've got a great filing system (a place to keep your newest ideas), you'll ALWAYS have something new to say, too.

Here's how we do it...

1. Work from the template you created-- the "perfect week."

2. When you sit to schedule your social media, don't do one post at a time, generate at least a week of content-- or more.

And, don't forget...

3. Recycle the old amidst the new.

Social Media Tips

Pro tip: realize the relative connection that each reaction on social media reveals about your audience.

It's easy to get enamored with "likes," but comments reveal more engagement, and shares reveal even more engagement than comments.

Another tip: though we love it when people engage with us-- through a like, comment, or share, remember...

They like it when we do th same with them. So, rather than waiting for them to connect with us, go ahead and initiate the conversation you want to have.

Engage with them, first.

Summary / Rules

Here's the biggest mistake we see creators make: they send people away from their website rather than inviting them to it.

Your website is your home base. In the same way you wouldn't invite people to your house for dinner... and then usher them out the back door, down the street, and to the neighbor's, neither should you push them away from your website.

Be sure to create an opt-in on our site where people can provide you with their contact info.

(Use a lead-magnet to achieve this-- we teach you how the full Amplify course.)

Once you know how to reach them, you can always invite them back!

What You Need to Know

Social media can be a powerful tool in your online arsenal. Though there are many variables, it's easier to manage when you have a step-by-step system that outlines what to do, when to do it, and how to continue refining your process.

The social media modules in the Amplify course teach you:

✅ how to create your "perfect week" based on your content flow

✅ how to recycle content you already have-- from weeks, months, and even years ago

✅ how to use social media to direct people to your site, how to collect their contact info, and how to continue inviting them back

✅ how to multiple and monetize your message

You don't have to push through alone.

The Amplify framework provides you with extensive training on how to transition your message from idea (or paper) into books, courses, coaching, membership groups, and more.

Connect with us here, or-- if you're ready-- jump into one of the programs below and let's get to work together.

We've got you!
